Cant find good free advertising!!!

So the link refferal site turned out to be kind of cheesy. They wanted you to view 20 other websites (some were really weird and even gross), and comment on five of them. I am having a difficult time finding good free ways to promote my blogs. I used MyBlogLog.com and had good results especially on the first day. After that you find out that this is only a temporary account and that you will have to pay in order to keep getting good traffic (Ugh). It seems to me the only way is to pay for advertising but I will keep you updated on any good freebies I find.
